This privacy policy describes how NCEBoxOffice ("we", "our", or "us") handles personal information in our point-of-sale (POS) application.
Cobalt Ridge LLC does not collect, store, or receive personal information about people who use the NCEBoxOffice app. The app is operated by a merchant's own staff, and the merchant controls the information entered into it.
At checkout, staff may enter a customer's name and email address in order to send a receipt. Along with the items purchased, the amount, the date, the card brand and the last four digits, this is stored in the app's private storage on the device. If the merchant has configured a backend server, these records are also sent to that server over HTTPS. Full card numbers, PINs and security codes are never collected by the app - card data is read by the Stripe reader and goes directly to Stripe.
NCEBoxOffice integrates with Stripe Terminal to process in-person payments. All payment data is securely handled by Stripe, and we do not store or access sensitive payment details.
The app does not use analytics tools or tracking services. We do not monitor or collect usage behavior.
The app may connect to third-party services such as Stripe and remote PHP/MySQL databases, as configured by the user. These services are governed by their own privacy policies.
We take user privacy seriously. All data stored on the device is managed locally unless the user configures a remote API. No user account or login is required to use the app.
NCEBoxOffice is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the policy on our website and indicate the revision date above.
